I saw on your website that I could put a memorial up for Riley Brown. She left us on June 4th 2005. I don’t really know what to say or to write. All I know is I will miss her soo much . We used to call her smiley Riley because her lips would go up like she was snarling at you when you came home. We realized she was smiling not snarling. That's how we gave her the nickname Smiley Riley. My husband found her on the side of the road and she was all skin and no hair. We took her in and fed /loved her. She was with my husband and I when we started dating, we have been together now for ten years. She was my baby girl.

 

Thank you Riley for always being my friend, my guard dog, my companion unconditionally.

I will remember your "smiles", your barking  ,the way you could find the most comfortable spot in the house and make it yours,  your soft nose , floppy ears, and your ability to dig a hole in the yard like you  were digging to China. I will miss you Riley, I hope you are in the most wonderful place now. Geoff and I love you and will always remember you.
