What a cute picture - a boy and his  dog! This is Nick Barras and his  dog, Maximus. Max is a Bassett Hound puppy, born on April 30, 2001, and pictured here at his first Puppy Plan appointment on June 27th when he weighed 15.4 pounds.  These two boys are going to have sooooo much fun together! Nick's parents, Amanda and Jason Barras have only had the puppy  for a week, and he seems to fit right into their family. It's great that Nick can learn some of the responsibility of the care of Max - they will be great friends!
