We would like to  present one of our own and her family's new puppy.  This is Jackie Morales, who works at CHAH and NWAH as a graphics designer and is also our resident color - coordinator, and Toby. Toby is a very nice 4 month old puppy that Jackie's parents, Kevin and Susan Chambers, adopted from the SPCA. They had been told that Toby's lineage included Golden Retriever and Irish Setter, however, upon closer scrutiny, Dr. Houghton feels that the heritage might be more a mixture of Golden Retriever and Afghan Hound. He is a beautiful, very fine-boned puppy, with a very soft, golden hair coat. He is  pictured here at his first Puppy Plan appointment on June 8, 2001 when he weighed 33 pounds. Jackie and her sister, Rene, tell us that Toby is very well-behaved at home. He is beginning to feel more comfortable there and the whole family looks forward to having him become an integral part of their life. He's going to be  a special friend!
