We would like to introduce John Dasinger and his new friend, Dixie. Dixie is a Pit Bull terrier mix who John found in his backyard, almost dead. The medical staff estimates that this puppy who is pictured here on August 23, 2004, was probably born about the middle of April, making her about 4 months old. She weighed 17.5 pounds at this appointment.  John has nursed her back to health and now has a wonderful new friend!
