Donna Douglas is such a fine lady that when she  discovered that this adorable puppy was about to be taken to the Animal Shelter by its previous owners, she took the puppy in, started it on its Puppy Plan and now is actively seeking a family who would like to adopt the puppy. Named Alan Shepherd, this Chow mix puppy was born on January 12, 2002, and is pictured here at his first Puppy Plan appointment on March 25th when he weighed 9.4 pounds.  This is a nice puppy, and, in the  right hands, could be  a dedicated family member for many years. He does seem to be worried about children, so a home without children would probably be best. Thanks to Donna Douglas for recognizing this puppy's potential and doing something to help the puppy!
