Dr. Fara Goodman grew up all over Florida, but primarily in the Tampa area. As a
child, she was encouraged by her parents to love and respect all animals. Trips
to the zoo, feeding Mallard ducks and raising a bird named Chirps that
fell out of it's nest, began a lifetime of love for animals of all kinds.
A graduate of the University of Florida and North Carolina Sate College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Goodman enjoys seeing patients throughout their lives - meeting them as puppies and kittens and getting to know them as they mature. It's the strong bond between animals and and their owners the makes veterinary medicine rewarding for Dr. Goodman. She enjoys helping pets grow and thrive as members of the family.
Special animals in Dr. Goodman's life today include Paris the German Shepherd and her cats Silly and Kitty. She enjoys listening to music and traveling to unusual places. Dr. Goodman spent a month in Chiang Mai, Thailand, learning elephant medicine. She also enjoys creative writing and has had her works published regionally.
She is happy to be back at Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital, having worked here as a receptionist prior to attending veterinary school. Dr/. Goodman admires the devotion and care that members of this community give their pets. She is looking forward to seeing patients she remembers from four years ago as well as meeting new clients.
