This is Jo-Ann Elsberry and her new kitten, Pita. Pita was found abandoned under some bushes, and now has a wonderful new home with Jo-Ann and her friend, Robin Pauley. Estimated to be about 8 weeks when we first saw her, Pita was 1.8 pounds on June 21, 2004. When this picture was taken on July 9th, she had grown to 2.6 pounds. She is a very sweet kitten, and pretty in her white boots, and she is very fortunate to have such a good home.
