What a great picture!  These are Jim and Katie Heidegger's children, Kenny and Jennie, and Rachel and Heidi. These are beautiful Sheltie puppies, litter-mates born n July 5, 2001, and pictured here on the day of their first Puppy Plan appointment, September 7, 2001. At this time, Jennie weighed 4 pounds, and her big sister, Heidi, weighed 4.2 pounds! Katie tells us that these were both supposed to be "family dogs", but the children have gravitated toward favorites. What is  important  here is that these two children are learning lessons of responsibility, and they are accountable for caring for these puppies - lessons they will never forget!! It will be fun to watch these four grow up together!
