What a   beautiful picture! This is Bessie and part of her new family, Kelly and Hallie Rae Jones (Dad, Shawn,  is working today). Bessie is a beautiful half Labrador Retriever and half Bloodhound puppy, bred by  Dr. and Mrs. Houghton, born on October 25th, and pictured here at her  Puppy Plan appointment on  December 18, 2002 when she weighed 13.1 pounds. Bessie is one of a very special litter of soft, floppy, superb puppies who  will become very devoted to their families and protective  of all of their "charges".  It is  wonderful that Hallie and Bessie can grow up  together, both will learn lots from the other!  What a great family!!
