On Wednesday, April 11, 2001, we were privileged to have two excellent students from McKeel Academy visit our Cleveland Heights facility to "shadow" Dr. Houghton for the day. Alece Matheny and Justin Shiver, both 10th graders at McKeel  Academy, represented their school well here at the Hospital, as they watched the daily activities in the medical areas at CHAH. There were a number of  surgeries that made the day very interesting for the students, including a canine spleenectomy complicated by a 3 pound tumor. We are pleased to be able to help the community by participating in the shadowing educational programs, and look forward to young people of this  high caliber getting into the field of Veterinary Medicine.
