What a wonderful   picture!  This is Richard and  Muffett Ripley's daughter, Alexis with the newest member of their family, Rosie Marie. Rosie Marie is a Miniature Dachshund, born  on  March 9, 2003, and  pictured here at her first Puppy Plan appointment  on  May 30th when she weighed 4.2 pounds. Is there a better way for a girl to learn all about responsibility than to  take  care  of a beautiful new puppy? Muffett tells  us that  even though Rosie is supposed to be asleep in her pen, she is always  found snuggling  with Alexis - what great friends they  will be for such a long time!!
