We want you  to  meet a very   special  gentleman - this is  Dave Ross, and his  newest friend,  Ricky. Ricky was an adoption kitten who lived at  Cleveland Heights for a while, and when he was here, he was everybody's favorite   kitten! We called  him Mouth of the South because he would  always talk a lot when he was not  being given attention, so he  got a lot   of attention! Dave is from Safety Harbor, but he works in Lakeland. He and  his   wife had recently lost one of their  cats, so he came to  visit  us at CHAH, and fell in love with this kitten. This  picture was taken on  Ricky's Adoption Day,  March 26, 2004, when this sweet   kitten  weighed 5 pounds.

We have heard  from Dave who tells us that Ricky's first  couple  of days at  his  new  home were  sort of  rough - he had to  get to  know their  other cat, Lucy, and the dog called Sandy. Finally, Ricky decided to take matters into his  own  paws, and he took over Lucy's bed, and will now eat  not only  his  food, but anyone else's if they  don't get it first! Sounds to us like Ricky has a very  wonderful new  home!
