We are always  proud of our  own "family" when we get new pets. Here is Tammy, one of our veterinary nursing assistants, with her own new Beagle/Blue Tick mix puppy, Dixie. Dixie, who was born on August 23, 2002, is pictured here at her first Puppy Plan appointment on November 13th when she weighed 8.8 pounds. This puppy sure picked the right person to smile at when Tammy went down to visit the SPCA! Dixie now has a wonderful new home with lots of kids, pets, and love to go around! Tammy says that this  puppy loves to give hugs, but you have to give hugs to get hugs!!
