We want to introduce you to  a member of our Cleveland Heights family, Karen Viertel, and the newest addition to  her family, Rookie. Karen has worked at our Hospital in a variety of capacities, and right now she is teaching the Obedience class for puppies. Karen, who is also a student at U.S.F.,  is very involved with teaching Obedience classes and working with her Fly-ball competition team. Rookie is a Border Collie puppy who was born on January 31, 2004  that  Karen rescued at 4 days old. He is pictured here at his  first Puppy Plan appointment on February 23, 2004 when he weighed 3 pounds.  We know that Rookie is probably going to be THE best behaved puppy in the whole world! It will be a special treat to watch this unique  puppy grow up!
