Dr. Houghton has owned Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital since he bought the practice from Dr. Jim Daniels in 1972. We expanded our practice into Winter Haven with the acquisition of Northwest Animal Hospital from Dr. George Fox in October of 1999.
Dr. Houghton graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and continued his education with a Masters in Business Administration from Florida Southern College. Dr. Houghton has dedicated his career to the development of Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital's commitment of professional pet care and total client service. He is now proud to bring his high caliber of veterinary medicine and customer service to the Winter Haven area with Northwest Animal Hospital.
Dr. and Mrs. Houghton have raised their family of four children in Lakeland. They have spent their hours away from the Hospital primarily in family-related activities, including church, travel, fishing, skiing, gardening, raising animals, and just plain enjoying children, grandchildren and pets!
