Dr. Robert Houghton is a 1998 graduate of George Jenkins High School in Lakeland, Florida. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Zoology from Auburn University and a DVM from St. George’s University. After completing his clinical year at North Carolina State University, he received additional training as an intern at the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine teaching hospital.

Dr. Houghton and is wife, Jackie, have a full household, with their daughter Adrienne, two cats Edgar and Oscar, and dog Josie. Jackie Houghton works as a graphic designer for Publix Super Markets.

Dr. Houghton is pleased to announce his ownership and acting position as Medical Director of Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital. His goal is to continue the tradition of excellent medical care for the clients and patients of the hospital. Through our focus on compassionate care, personal service, and unsurpassed professional medical attention, we look forward to the next generation of healthy pets and lifelong relationships!
