Dr. Robert Houghton has joined the staff at Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital.  Having literally grown up at CHAH, this has been a great home-coming for "Bert". Since graduating from George Jenkins High School in 1998, Dr. Houghton has graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Zoolology, and from St. Georges University  College of Veterinary Medicine with his Doctorate degree.  He  has recently completed a post-graduate veterinary internship with an emphasis on trauma care at North Carolina State University .

Dr. Houghton and his wife, Jackie, have recently bought a house in Lakeland and have begun the process of helping their two cats, Edgar and Oscar, adjust to living in Lakeland.  As of right now, Oscar seems to be willing to at least investigate new things, while Edgar is still working on getting over the fact that he overheard someone say that their next door neighbor has 19 cats!

Bert and Jackie are both looking forward to renewing old acquaintances at Cleveland Heights, as well as making lots of new friends through church activities and Jackie's new position as Development Director of Parker Street Ministries.
