Dr. Donna Capps
Dr. Donna Capps, a familiar face to many pet lovers in Polk County, grew up on a farm in Mayfield, Kentucky. She was the 4th of 5 children, and she always loved "doctoring" the sick animals on the farm.
After attending the University of Kentucky for her pre-vet education, and Ohio State University Veterinary School, Dr. Capps first practiced in Highland City. She has managed the Veterinary Emergency Clinic since 1999.
Dr. Capps and her husband, Jim, have 6 children, ages 19, 18, 13, 12, 10, and 8, as well as numerous family pets. The Capps are active members of Victory Assembly of God, and their family enjoys many outings with the church.
