Cleveland Heights Dr. Kim Patrick grew up in South Carolina and went to Clemson University where she received a BS in Biological Sciences. She earned her D.V.M. degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After graduation, she joined a very busy small animal practice in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she worked for 11 years. Dr. Patrick and her husband, Rob, have four children, Katherine, 8, Rachel, 6, Micah, 4, and Jonah, 2. They have moved to our area from North Carolina when Rob was called to pastor the Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. The complexity of the move to Bartow was increased because of the variety of 4-footed children who made the move as well: 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 rabbits! Dr. Patrick tells us that she enjoys all aspects of the profession, but has a special interest in soft tissue surgery. We are so happy that Dr. Patrick has joined us at Cleveland Heights. She brings with her years of experience in small animal medicine, a true love of animals, an excitement in being here, and a warmth that radiates as she meets new folks in Florida. |
