What a great picture! This is Stacy Benner and her new baby, Shortie. Shortie is an American Bulldog mix puppy who was born on February 3, 2005. She is pictured here at her Puppy Plan appointment on April 4th when she weighed 13.5 pounds. That doesn't sound like a lot of weight unless you know that exactly one month prior to this day, Shortie weighed only 4.6 pounds. WoW! She more than tripled her weight in one month! This is going to be a big girl!! Actually, Stacy tells us that she and her husband, Jeff, named this puppy Shortie because she is much bigger than their other dog, so they named her Shortie to make the other dog feel bigger!! HMmmmmmmmmm!
