We would like to present two very special friends of all of the Houghton family and Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital. This is Aunt Helen Leslie with her best friend, Bella. Bella is a Bichon Frise' diva who is the best example of a "rescue dog" that we know of. Bella was "saved" from a very rough child-hood, and now lives in the lap of luxury with Aunt Helen in Feather Sound. Bella was born on September 11, 2000, and is shown here on May 2, 2005 when she weighed in a a very pretty 10 pounds. Bella is known throughout their neighborhood as a wonderfully happy, playful puppy who can hardly wait to meet and greet every new dog that moves in! She is everybody's best buddy and a great companion for Aunt Helen!

Helen recently sent us this adorable picture of Bella and her buddy at the 'beauty shop'. Helen tells us, "This is  my friend Kim Baldwin's Bichon named Emma. Emma and Bella play together and it is so entertaining for us to watch them play. They  run around and around my living room, but, when I say, "treat", everything stops and they run to the kitchen. They are good for each other. "

It sounds to us like it is the two buddies who have their human friends trained just they way they want them!  Lucky puppies!!!
