We
would like to introduce one of our favorites here at CHAH - this is 11
year old Sizzlen Tony and his adopted mother, Christine Meyers. Tony has won a
special place in everyone's hearts here at Cleveland Heights. He has had
to have some surgery on his leg recently, and has withstood both pain and
debilitation with a patient, sweet attitude that basically says, "I know you are
helping me, let's get it over with!" Tony had a long, exemplary career as
a racing Greyhound, and, in the sunset of his years, has been adopted through a
Greyhound Rescue Association by John and Christine Meyers who both love him very
much. We are pleased to say that Tony is doing very well, Christine
tells us that he is playing around the house like a puppy! What a inspiring
story of a wonderful dog who was given a second chance by a loving couple!!!
