Pets in THE LODGE are fed Purina EN, which is a premium diet specially formulated to be easy for your pet to digest. We typically feed in the morning and in the evening in an amount appropriate for your pet's size.

We are happy to feed your pet food from home according to your instructions.

BATHING INSTRUCTIONS

After a few days in even the cleanest and best maintained kennel facility, your pet will smell…well…like a dog (or cat).  We offer a full range of bathing and professional grooming services so that your pet will be clean and smelling sweet when you arrive.

CHAH LODGING CONTRACT       

 This is a Contract between Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital (hereinafter called "CHAH") and the pet owner whose signature appears below (hereinafter called "Owner").

1. ALL ANIMALS ENTERING CHAH MUST BE CURRENT ON VACCINATIONS AND FREE OF EXTERNAL PARASITES OR THEY WILL BE TREATED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE.
2. Owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date the pet is checked into CHAH.
3. Owner also agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested, and all veterinary costs for the pet during the time the pet is in the care of CHAH.
4. Owner further agrees that the pet shall not leave CHAH until all charges are paid to CHAH by Owner.
5. By signing this Contract and leaving his/her pet with CHAH, Owner certifies to the accuracy of all information given about the pet, that CHAH's liability shall in no event exceed the lesser of the current chattel value of a pet of the same species or the sum of $200 per animal boarded. The Owner further agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of the pet while it is in the care of CHAH. In no event shall CHAH be liable for any indirect or consequential damages to the owner of the pet.
6. Owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the pet, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.
7. All charges incurred by Owner shall be payable upon pick-up of the pet. Kennel shall have, and is hereby granted, a lien on the pet for any and all unpaid charges resulting from boarding the pet at CHAH. If Owner does not pick up the pet within 5 calendar days after the day the pet was due to be picked up, the pet shall be deemed to be abandoned. The person into whose custody the pet was placed for care shall then dispose of said pet as deemed professionally necessary.
8. If the pet becomes ill or if the state of the pet's health otherwise requires professional attention, CHAH, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian or administer medicine or give other requisite attention to the pet, and the expenses thereof shall be paid by Owner.
9. This Contract contains the entire agreement between the parties. All terms and conditions of this Contract shall be binding on the heirs, administrators, personal representatives and assigns of Owner and CHAH. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital Lodging Hours are as follows:

Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Saturday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Sunday 4:00pm to 5:30 pm

Checkout time is before 3:00 pm. Monday through Saturday and 5:30 pm Sunday.  Animals picked up after 3:00pm Monday through Saturday  and 5:30 on Sunday will be charged for normal boarding fees for that night.
